Dr. Litesa Wallace, is an accomplished lecturer, speaker, and researcher. She has over a decade of experience in higher education-- both in academic and student affairs and over 2 years experience in public policy-making as a member of the Illinois House of Representatives.
Wallace has dedicated her professional career to the education and empowerment of others, while remaining committed to her own journey toward life-long learning. She has earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Individual Studies, a Master of Science Degree in Applied Family and Child Studies with as Specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy, and an Educational Doctorate in Educational Psychology. Additionally, she possesses a graduate certificate in Quantitative Research in Educational Settings. She has earned two coveted fellowships; American Psychological Association Graduate Research Seminar and the Diversifying Higher Education Faculty in Illinois Fellow.
Wallace has taught an impressive range of university courses--sociology, career planning, college reading and educational psychology. She has used her interdisciplinary educational background to conceptualize research that has been presented at conferences such as the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists, the American Psychological Association, and the National Conference on Race and Ethnicity.
