WE WILL matters to me in the community because my personal mission in life is to create a better place to live and work for everyone around the world so our organization contributes to that mission. I feel proud to help women have their voices heard, safeguard our rights, and help society evolve as whole. When we are well the entire world prospers.
Who are you professionally?
I am a native Chicagoan with over 23 years of professional experience providing Human Resource consulting to a variety of small businesses, Fortune 500 companies, colleges/universities and municipalities. She is a professor at LATAM Business School, author of A Woman’s Vault, and the creator of various tools to close the gender gap for women.
Prior to The Walker Thomas Group, I was Vice President of The Kaleidoscope Group, a niche diversity consulting firm and has held multiple consulting positions with Aon Hewitt, one of the leading human resource consulting firms in the world. Her work has provided opportunities to work with entrepreneurs, C-level executives, HR managers, and external partners. I designed gender and diversity strategies, conducted cultural assessments, global learning strategies, and addressed attraction and retention issues for general and diverse populations. I have delivered solutions to clients throughout North America, Europe, Latin America, and Asia. She is certified to administer Myers-Briggs, DiSC and a certified coach.
Tell us more about your personal life?
I am passionate about people, especially women and children. I am the Ambassador at Large for Gender Equality for the Foundation for the Support of the United Nations. I consult and give significant time to Chicago Public Schools school districts through professional development for faculty, as well as coaching and mentoring programs for students. I have served on the Board of Directors for Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), The Academy of Finance at Marshall High School and is a regular guest speaker and mentor for Year Up Chicago. Additionally, I attended Howard University and Lake Forest Graduate School of Management.
What is your Fun Fact about you?
I use to take private pilot's lessons but it was hard because I have no sense of direction!
